When will people realize that children are so precious and so delicate. Just read the story of a 17 year old who killed a 2 year old by shoving him so hard that he smacked his head, fatally, all because they child was trying to take his phone while he was looking at Facebook. Really? A child died because of this? Disgusting. And isn’t that the second Facebook related child fatality? And here I am conversing with a mother who lost her child to Cancer and would do anything, ANYTHING, to get her child back.

There has to be a different way. There has to be something we can do to educate people about what a simple push can do to a child. I know that people get out of control. And I know that people are crazy. And I know that bad things happen in the world. But I know that if I could help to save just one child’s life, it’s worth it. I’ve been playing around with the idea of a 1800 number for a while now: and you received the number when you give birth, and it’s 24/7 and there are people on the other end who can tell you what to do when a baby is crying, or a child is being naughty, and if need be, can step in to help. I don’t know if I can sit passively much longer and read about kids being killed for being kids.
