I think it’s important for the kids to have an understanding of their heritage, but we always have to┬ábalance the fact that Darian and I are not particularly religious, with our desire for the kids to experience the traditions of Judaism. Mia and Max started Hebrew School a few weeks ago and seem to be enjoying it, and this week we celebrated Rosh Hashanah with the family. We had apples and honey, a delicious meal prepared by my sister in law Tandi, and celebrated the Jewish New Year with sweet things and chocolates, and meringue! Plus, all I had to do was set the table.
